Mariah and Gabe were nice and came down to hang out with the kids for a bit tonight after Brandt had called to invite them over to play.  We played my new game, Buck, Buck, Moose and then Brandt, Kylie, and Gabe played Twister.  There were a lot of good laughs-of course, there always are whenever Gabe is around.

Pugmire Christmas 2014

Highlights of this year's Christmas party at my mom and dad's were new fleece blankets made by grandma for the grand kids, playing with baby Savanna, making gingerbread houses, and the kids having fun with cousins.  My friend Shandi has recently had some difficult times in her life and so I invited her to share our day with us since she wasn't able to see her girls today.  Jana and Terry picked her up and brought her with them and my mom and Jana made sure that she had a sock and presents to open just like the rest of us. I'm so blessed to have been raised in a family that believes in reaching out to others and doing what we can to make them feel included and loved.  Christmas or not, I always know that I can bring friends or someone in need of help to my parents' house and they are welcomed with no questions asked.  I'm thankful for their great example of charity and I try to do my best to live up to that myself.
