One of the challenges with Brandt almost since he was born has been getting him to socialize in appropriate and kind ways with others-a very common challenge with both Asperger's and ADHD. Thankfully we live in an area where we are surrounded by good people and great opportunities to help further develop his social skills. He has been asking for a friend to get off the bus with him and today it worked out that Colby Passey could do just that. They had a lot of fun playing at my mom's until I got off work and then had even more fun when my dad took them out to see the horses and for a tractor ride to feed the cows. It was nice to see buddy have so much fun with a friend from school.
