Swim Lessons February 2013
Yesterday was the last day of swimming for both kids and they were so sad to see it end. Buddy ended up going in the class before his regular class because some of the kids weren't there. He's the cute one in the middle right by his teacher, Jessica Ward. :) This is his second time taking lessons and I've been so proud of him. He's been a little more brave every week and by yesterday he was jumping in all by himself and actually enjoying it. He's getting better about putting his face in the water and blowing bubbles. Yesterday was kind of a fun day and the kids got to wear goggles and go for "dolphin rides" and do flips under the water. As soon as Brandt put the goggles on he was dunking himself under the water which is huge because he usually hates getting his face wet. Kylie was actually too young to take lessons, but Jessica let her in the first class anyway because of how comfortable she already is in the water. She is a little fish! She loves to jump off into the water whether anyone is there to catch her or not, so we have to watch her every second. She's good at blowing her bubbles, and by yesterday she was able to float on her back for a short amount of time. She loved her little class with two of the little girls from our ward. Kylie is on the left side of her teacher and then Krya is on the other side and Lacie is on the end. We love going to the pool in Garden City and only wish we could go more often.
