Amanda Jean got to have a sleepover at grandma's last night since Jana was going in this morning to have her baby. Last night I took the 3 kids to the lake for the first time this summer. It wasn't super warm but we had fun anyway. I enjoyed taking a few minutes to put my feet in the sand and my nose in a good book. After we went and saw baby Savanna earlier today, we came back to my house for the afternoon. Brandt and Manda played baseball in the back yard. Brandt kept trying to tell Amanda that she was trying to throw and catch with the wrong hand (she's a lefty). Of course, he thought it was just fine that she was hitting lefty because he already practices being a switch hitter "just like Sammy."
